Get Customers While Sleeping (Literally)

Bees [People] are attracted to Flowers [Websites] that provide the Best Nectar [Product]

By Denver Kunaka

There are basically three groups of people (customers).

Cold, warm and hot.

In the digital marketing space, they are usually called audiences.

A cold audience is a group of people who don't know they have a problem. They also don't even know your brand exists. They're strangers to your business.

These people are hard to convince. They're just not interested in whatever you're selling or offering.

They're plentiful on social media, WhatsApp groups and everywhere else.

Same as cold, a warm audience knows they have a problem and need something but they're just turning a blind eye to it. They're probably just ignorant.

A little push and persuasion might do the trick for these.

Now, a Hot audience is the real deal.

They want the solution right away. They're constantly "searching" for solutions to their problems. If they find the solution (nectar) appealing they go for it.

However, a Hot audience is difficult to find but needs your solution (product) right away.

So where can you find these people?, or better, where can they find you (your solution)?

That's when a website comes into play.

To attract and scoop those hot customers to your product.

You see, hot customers come to Google searching for solutions and products to their problems.

They come on their OWN without being pushed, or you pushing them, unlike cold/warm audiences where you have to hunt them down.

If your WEBSITE is well optimised, ranking higher on Google and offering the solutions, it can scoop in more hot customers without you even trying.

You don't have to struggle to find customers because your website attracts them to you.

It's like a flower that attracts bees to nectar 24/7.

Help People First!

Sell without focusing on profits only but helping people.

If you want to succeed online help people first.

Create helpful content to stand out from the rest of the crowd.

Sadly, most people don't want to do it.

When I created my first website, The Geo Room. I just created(written) content related to the syllabus.

I didn't know much about keyword research and other search optimisation techniques.

In about 3-4 months I started getting a few visitors from Google, and BOOM!

Maybe it was luck or God's grace, I don't know.

But the bottom line is helpful content matters. Content that addresses people's problems and questions.

It is the foundation for ranking higher on Google. You literally cannot do most optimisations without it.

For example, internal linking, backlinks (sites that link to you) and site authority all depend mostly on the content available on the website.

Content creates TRUST. If you focus on helping more than selling people will slowly start to gravitate towards your brand. They will see it as authoritative and having expertise.

I believe in every niche there's always something to help people with.
